Become One with Nature at Disney’s Animal Kingdom...

Disney's Animal Kingdom is one of the most magical and exciting of all the parks. It's important to remember though, that these wonderful shows aren't scheduled and only follow the natural days of the animals. Animals love the cooler mornings, not the midday heat, so rise and shine early for this great adventure!

Kilimanjaro Safaris should be your first stop, so be prepared to head all the way to the back of the park. There's tons of African wildlife on view and it looks, feels, and smells like the real thing, it's simply amazing. The Pangani Forest Exploration Trail leads to a close-up Gorilla encounter with these magnificent animals and an underwater tete a tete with some hippopotami!

All through out the park the attention to detail is superb. The Tree Of Life, the park icon, is an inspired 145-foot creation that merits a tour all of its own. Underneath the tree you'll find It's Tough to Be A Bug a comedy show featuring loveable Flik, Hopper and a cast of millions.

Young paleontologists should plan a trip to Dinoland USA where they can get dirty and dig up old friends in The Boneyard. This is also where you'll find the Dinosaur ride, a thrilling adventure for the young or young at heart! The whole family needs to catch Festival of the Lion King, this award winning musical is simply unbelievable.

Don't miss the exciting Kali River Rapids or the beautiful tigers along the Maharaja Jungle Trek. Just opened in 2006 is Expedition Everest - enjoy a 'hairy' Himalayan encounter aboard this rollercoaster ride to the top of the world! Camp Minnie Mickey is where you'll find the usual tribe of Disney characters just in case the kids need another cute picture!
